Congress must continue to invest in Alzheimer’s and dementia research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and fund the Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act (P.L. 115-406). A sustained federal investment in research will accelerate the global progress of new treatments, preventions, and ultimately, a cure.

The BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act is working to strengthen the public health infrastructure across the country by implementing effective Alzheimer’s intervention focused on public health issues such as increasing early detection and diagnosis, reducing risk, and preventing avoidable hospitalizations.
