A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
As a caregiver to both my mom, who lives with Alzheimer’s dementia, and my grandmother, who also lived with it until her passing in 2022, I’m often asked, “How do you do it?” My answer is simple: the grace of God. It is only through His strength and sustaining grace that I’ve been able to care for my mom for nearly ten years and my grandmother for almost five—with joy.
Not that I don’t have challenging days, but in those moments, I always find my way to God’s Word or simply share my heart with Him through journaling.
It is my prayer that as you read these devotionals and share your heart with God, you too will discover how to lean into His grace and find greater joy in being the arms and heart of God as you serve your loved one, no matter their condition.
I pray you are strengthened, empowered, and inspired to Keep Going, Keep Pushing, Keep Loving, and Keep CARING!

Caregiving is one of the purest expressions of love. It’s love that shows up when it’s inconvenient, continues when it’s exhausting, and stays even when there’s no applause.
